Hi Almal,
Soos ons almal weet na die GN Liga en Klereaand is GAUTENG-NOORD die Curriebeker Kampioene vir 2011.
Dit is vir ons as GAUTENG-NOORD 'n groot prestasie om na al die jare van harde werk as CURRIEBEKER KAMPIOENE gekroon te word. Ek wil graag al al ons lede in GAUTENG-NOORD baie dankie se vir 'n fantastiese jaar. Dit is voorwaar 'n eer om deel te wees van hierdie wonderlike prestasie.
Mag ons as 'n provinsie voortbou op hierdie suksesse en mag ons net groei van krag tot krag. Deur die jaar was daar baie challenges en ons het dit met lof oorbrug. Daar was ook baie suksesse en ons het dit met groot eer ontvang, maar nog steeds nederig gebly. Ek dank almal van julle vir hierdie 'maturity' wat ons gewys het en mag hierdie die eerste ooewinning van nog baie wees!!!!

INLEIDING
ITEM 1: OPENING EN VERWELKOMING
1. Die Voorsitter (Gert Swart) heet almal teenwoordig welkom.
2. Jurie Van Staden open die verrigtinge met gebed.
ITEM 2: PRESENSIE
3. Die Voorsitter bevestig die bywoning. Sien Aanhangsel A.
4. Geloofsbriewe is ontvang van die volgende klubs: Centurion, Iscor, Impala, Koedoe, Munt, Pisces, Polisie en Weermag. Sien Aanhangsels B tot I.
5. Die feit dat Paalhengel (AJV) asook Karphengel (Maandelikse Vergadering) nie teenwoordig is nie, is onaanvaarbaar en sal met die UK opgeneem word.
ITEM 3: LIEF EN LEED
6. Leed. Die kommittee word ingelig van die volgende aspekte rakende lede van GNVOV:
a. Tannie Beeslaar ket kanker en dit gaan effens beter met haar.
b. Dit gaan nie goed met Susan Labuschagne nie – haar lewensverwagting lyk nie baie rooskleuring nie.
c. Wilma McDonald het ‘n operasie ondergaan en dit gaan goed met haar.
7. Lief. Die kommittee word ingelig van die volgende aspekte rakende lede van GNVOHV:
a. Gert Swart het nog ‘n kleinkind ryker geword.
b. Gelukwense aan die vier senior lede wat in die onderskeie SAVOF spanne opgeneem is.
i. LAR Du Plessis, NJ Foord en GP Ruthven (Federasie A-span).
ii. AV De Klerk (Federasie B-span).
c. Gelukwense aan die lede wat verkies is tot die onderskeie SAVOF kommittees.
ITEM 4: ADDISIONELE PUNTE VIR BESPREKING (VASSTELLING VAN AGENDA)

ITEM 5: NOTULE VAN VORIGE VERGADERING 9. The Notule van die vorige vergadering (2 Junie 2010) word aanvaar. Sien Aanhangsel J. ITEM 6: SAKE VOORTSPRUITEND 10. LOTTO Fondse. Die Voorsitter spreek sy dank uit aan Danie De Jager met die harde werk wat hy gedoen het met die verkryging van LOTTO fondse. Hy is van mening dat daar gepoog moet word om van hierdie geld na die Senior Kommittee te kanaliseer. 11. Punte Stelsel. Die Voorsitter deel die vergadering mee dat die voorstel om terug te keer na die vorige punte stelsel tans by SAVOF is. GNVOV steun hierdie terugkeer. ITEM 7: KORRESPONDENSIE 12. Geen. ITEM 8: FINANSIES 13. Geen Finansiële Verslag word ingehandig nie. 14. Die Voorsitter spreek sy dank uit aan Angie Landsberg vir haar harde werk. ITEM 9: VOORSITTERS VERSLAG 15. Die Voorsitter lees sy verslag voor en handig dit in. Sien Aanhangsel K. ITEM 10: REGLEMENT VOORSTELLE 16. Grondwet Wysigings. Die Voorsitter noem dat daar wel wysigings aan die Senior Kommittee Grondwet is – spesifiek ten opsigte van die Proewe Prosedures. Markus Swart dui aan dat indien dit nie tydens die AJV gedoen kan word nie, ‘n Spesiale Algemene Vergadering gehou sal moet word. 17. Liga Stelsel. Markus Swart deel die vergadering mee dat die liga stelsel, soos hersien op 25 Mei 2011, aan die klubs gesirkuleer sal word vir hul finale insette. ITEM 11: SAKE VIR DRINGENDE BESPREKING 18. Geen. MATCH ANGLING FEEDBACK
The AGM of the Gauteng North Match Angling facet was held on 08 June 2011 at the Gauteng North Sports Grounds.
The following serves as confirmation notes for the AGM 2011 (Formal Minutes of the AGM meeting will be posted as soon as it is complete):
"GAUTENG NOORD MATCH HENGEL REGLIMENT"
During the AGM meeting Ms Marinda Kriel submitted a draft document with reference as the "Gauteng Noord Match Hengel Regliment" dated 08 June 2011 to structure and describe the functioning of the Gauteng North Match Angling Facet within the Gauteng North Freshwater Bank Angling Association (GNFBAA). The members present supported the implementation thereof and a final draft will be submitted to the Chairperson of the GNFBAA Excom for approval at the next Excom meeting.
ATTENDANCE OF GNFBAA COLOURS EVENING BY MATCH ANGLERS
It was also proposed that the following categories must form part of the annual GNFBAA Colours Evening for members of the GN Match Angling Facet with approval from the Chairperson of the GNFBAA Excom:
- Provincial Champions 1st, 2nd and 3rd placements for Senior Men, Women and Juniors.
- Heaviest Bag of fish caught during the league for Senior Men, Women and Juniors.
- Heaviest Fish Species caught during the league for Senior Men, Women and Juniors.
- Champion of Champions during the league for the best overall performance between the above categories of participants.
It is planned to have roving trophies made for the above categories with medals as souvernirs.
It was also proposed that members who qualified for their GNFBAA Colours during the SA Championships in April should also receive recognition during this prestiges event. This request will be submitted to the GNFBAA Excom for consideration during 2011/2012.
GNFBAA MATCH LEAGUE AND TRIALS FOR 2011/2012
It was decided that the GNFBAA Match Angling Facet will launch a new league for GNFBAA Match Affiliated Members. The details are as follows:
GNFBAA Match Competition League Dates:
17 Sep 11 at Alberton Dam (Known as the R50.00 Dam).
15 Oct 11 at Vaal Dam (Biermans).
19 Nov 11 at Vaal Dam (De Kamp).
GNFBAA Match Trial Dates:
18 Sep 11 at Alberton Dam (Known as the R50.00 Dam).
16 Oct 11 at Vaal Dam (Biermans).
20 Nov 11 at Vaal Dam (De Kamp).
It was planned that the GNFBAA Match Trails should be held the next day after a GNFBAA Match League Competition for the purpose of saving on the actual costs for attending competitions as well as to prepare the same venue for the trials. Members could therefore utilise the opportunity to pre-test strategies and battle plans for the trials during the competition period.
GNFBAA League Competitions and Trials will take place over a period of 5 hours angling per match.
Members must report at 06:00 for drawing of pegs and follow the instructions / rules as confirmed by the GNFBAA Match Official (Sanet Potgieter).
Entry Fees for participations in the GNFBAA Match Competition League is fixed @ R30.00 per competition (not including bank fees, etc) and for the GNFBAA Match Trials @ R100.00 once off payment for all three trials (not including bank fees, etc).
Members must take note that according to the GNFBAA "Regliment" for match angling that a member must have at least attended 2 of the 3 trials to qualify for selection within a GNFBAA Match Team. Please refer to the "Gauteng Noord Match Hengel Regliment" dated 08 June 2011 for conditions that apply which are not all discussed in the above in terms of the selection of GNFBAA Match Teams.
SELECTION OF GNFBAA MATCH ANGLING COMMITTEE
During the AGM the following members were selected to represent the GNFBAA Match Angling Facet:
Chairperson: Johnny Moorhouse.
Secretary: Marinda Kriel.
Official: Sanet Potgieter.
In conclusion, the contributions made by Marinda Kriel as the outgoing Chairperson, have created the opportunity for the GNFBAA Match Angling Facet to continue as a well structured and competative match angling body, are hereby recognised. It is without a doubt that individual contributions as made by Marinda Kriel by means of her actions and leadership have laid the foundation for GNFBAA Match Angling to achieved such prestiges performances as during the last SA Match Angling Championships in April 2011. To each member of the GNFBAA Match Angling Facet for the support they gave to Marinda Kriel in the execution of her duties as Chairperson, we sincerely also appreciated your inputs and contributions. Without individual sacrifices made, GNFBAA Match Angling would not have been in a position to be regarded as being the "best of the best" in SA Match Angling. To Marinda in particular and all the members of the GNFBAA Match Angling Facet... well done!

OOM KOOS
Oom Koos - STADIG loop en VINNIG dink
Een aand, so skemer se kant, besluit Oom Koos, in sy eensaamheid, om bietjie daar by die dam te gaan sit en pyprook.
Hy neem toe ook 'n emmer saam om 'n paar van die vrugte terug te neem huis toe.
Soos wat hy aangestap kom, hoor hy vrolike stemme gesels en giggel. Hy val plat agter 'n bos en loer deur die takke om te sien wat aangaan.
Tot sy swak hart beleef hy 'n groep kaal meisies wat in die dam swem.
Hy staan toe op en stap nader om die meisies te laat weet hulle betree eintlik 'n ander man se eiendom. Toe hulle hom sien, sak hulle almal laer af, sodat die water die nodige toemaak.
Een van die meisies skreeu benoud op die oom:
"Ons klim nie uit voor oom nie weggaan nie!"
"Nee, nee, bedaar niggie, ek is nie hier om te kyk hoe die spulletjie van julle kaal swem nie......"
